Ronald “Wayne” Kilburn, 84, of Chelmsford, MA died Friday March 31, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Wayne was married to Sandra “Sandy” (Ricciardi) Kilburn with whom he would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in July.
Born in his childhood home in Chelmsford, he was the son of the late Bertrum and Jean Kilburn.
He graduated from Chelmsford High School, with the class of 1957
He retired from the Chelmsford Public School district as a maintenance man in 2004. He was previously employed at Fletcher Quarry in Chelmsford, MA as a Truck Driver.
Wayne was a born again Christian and a devout bible reader. Wayne was an active member at North Chelmsford Congregational Church until he fell ill in December 2022 and a former member of the Christian Businessman’s Association.
An avid outdoorsman, you could find Wayne hunting with his bow and arrow or at the Tyngsboro Sportsman’s club perfecting his aim.
Besides his wife, Wayne is survived by his two daughters Kelli Kinsman of Plaistow, NH and Koral and her husband Patrick Couch of Blountville, TN; two brothers-in-law Peter Ricciardi and George Frazee; his eight grandchildren Alison and Nathanial Couch, Sarah Tripodi and her husband Tyler, Gabrielle, Diane and Alex Kinsman, Caleb Monroe and Sarah Williams and her husband Randy; his great-grandchildren Scarlett, Rozaline, Josephine, Ethan Korinna and Leo, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Kimberley Monroe, the brother to the late Barbara Frazee and Jeanne Godfrey and father-in-law to the late David Kinsman.
