Ralph J Sennott Jr. of Westford, beloved husband of Kathleen Kuhn Sennott with whom he would have celebrated their 54th anniversary on June 29th died May 20, 2022 surrounded by love.
Ralph was graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School in 1956 and from Xavier University in 1960. He worked as a guidance counselor at Cambridge Rindge and Latin until his retirement in 2001. Ralph was a member of the Massachusetts School Counselor’s Association (MASCA) for 20 years and chaired it’s Conference Committee for 19 years. In 2004, Ralph received the O.S.C.A.R. Award for devoted service to the counseling profession.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents Ralph J and Agnes Sennott and his sisters Anne Slattery, Agnes E. Sennott, Alice Allen and Catherine Mahoney.
In addition to his wife, Ralph’s greatest joys were his three sons and their families: Sean and Andrea Sennott of Hampton Falls, NH and their children Bryan, Katie, Gage and Noah; R. James (Jamie) Sennott and Sara Tholander and his daughters Cathryn and Rebecca; and Ryan Sennott. Ralph was grateful for the presence of many nieces and nephews in his life.
Those who knew Ralph know that he loves to talk to everyone whether he knows them or not. He made friends along the way at the post office, bank, church, cleaners, Toyota service department, and even atop Mt. Washington.
Ralph loved telling stories and especially about his years growing up at the Wayside Inn while his father worked for Henry Ford and that he attended the Mary Lamb School in Sudbury. He was ever so proud of his Irish heritage!
Wonderful neighbors, Gourmet Group, St. Catherine Mission Trips, a Caribbean cruise, visiting National Parks, attending events showcasing his grandchildren and his travels with Kathy to Ireland, France, Alaska, Iceland and Africa were also highlights of his life.
