Regina (Zubke) Simms of Chelmsford, MA

Regina B. (Zubke) Simms, 74, of Chelmsford, MA died Monday, December 8, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was married to Leo L. Simms with whom she would have celebrated their 53th wedding anniversary on January 6, 2015.
Born in Stettin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Hildegarde Zubke.
Regina was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Chelmsford. She served on the Property Committee and was a member of the Altar Guild.
She enjoyed gardening, reading and listening to classical music.
Regina was a longtime resident of Chelmsford.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Aaron and his wife, Terri Simms of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Nicole and her husband, Michael Zupan of Burke, VA and Alyssa Simms and her husband, Kim Clark of Owing Mills, MD; two brothers, Ernst Zubke of Kiel, Germany and Peter and his wife, Fleur Zubke of Raunheim, Germany; one sister, Barbara and her husband, Gerd Fleischmann of Hamburg, Germany; five grandchildren, Neverson Clark, Octavia Clark, Aldous Clark, Josef Zupan and Elshaday Zupan and several nieces and nephews
She was the mother of the late Marc Simms, who died in 1995.

Visitation Saturday from 9:30 to 10:15a.m with a Funeral Service at 10:30A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 170 Old Westford Rd., Chelmsford. Burial in the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
