Mr. Richard “Rick” Emil Lundblad, 66, of North Chelmsford, MA died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was married to Mrs. Dawn (Johnston) Lundblad with whom he celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year.
The son of the late Robert and the late Mildred (Golden) Lundblad. He was a graduate of Wareham High School with the class of 1973.
He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War Era as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. Rick received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon.
He retired as a computer hardware engineer consultant who previously worked at Wang Labs and Nortel.
He was an avid New England and Boston sports fan.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jon Lundblad of N. Chelmsford, MA and Richard and his wife, Melissa, Lundblad of Fairfax, VT; his granddaughter, Autumn Lundblad of Fairfax, VT; his brother, Robert Lundblad of Wareham, MA; his seven sisters, Cathy Lundblad of Mansfield, MA, Rise Lundblad of Wareham, MA, Janine, and her husband, Steve Sisko of Port Orchard, WA, Donna, and her husband, Jim Bell of Wareham, MA, Linda Lundblad of Stuart, FL, Lois Lundblad of Stuart, FL and Claire, and her husband, Robert Goguen of Portsmouth, VA; his mother in law, Jane Johnston of Shreveport, LA and many nieces and nephews.
