Romeo DeJesus Gonzalo of Dracut, Ma

Mr. Romeo DeJesus Gonzalo, 72, of Dracut, MA died Monday, February 19, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital.

He was married to Mrs. Lolita (Casipe) Gonzalo with whom he celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on January 20, 2018.

Born in Manila, Philippines on August 19, 1945 the son of the late Pedro & Raymunda Gonzalo, he was educated in the Philippines and attended the Philippine College of Commerce.

He came to the United States in March 1995 and later became a U.S. citizen.

He retired from Analog Devices of Wilmington, MA and previously worked for 20 years at CitiBank in the Philippines.

He was a communicant of St. Marguerite D’Youville Parish of Dracut, MA.

He loved cha-cha dancing.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Manuel & Laarni Gonzalo of the Philippines; a daughter, Irene Gonzalo of Dracut; a brother; 6 sisters; 5 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by 6 of his siblings.
