Sam Sem, 49, of Lowell, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Saing Tim who died in April and Ath Sem of Providence, RI.

He graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1993.

Sam was working at Bostich of Warwick, RI. He enjoyed fishing and playing basketball.

He is survived by his son Alex Phomarath, daughters, Kaylene Sem Jennie Sem and her husband of Providence RI; siblings, Sothea Sem of Providence, RI., Sothany Tim of Providence, RI., Sal You and her husband Hol of Lowell, MA., Alyssa Saeung and her husband Visuit of Nashville, TN., and Sotheary Sem of Providence, RI., and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are Wednesday October 28, 2020 at 2:30pm. Funeral Thursday, October 29, 2029 at 8:30am from the Glory Buddhist Temple, Lowell. Cremation will follow at Merrimack Crematory.
