Sandra Elaine (Dow) Vincent, age 85, of Dunstable, MA, peacefully passed away in her home on January 12, 2024. Sandra was married to Donald Vincent for 55 years before his passing in 2018. She was the daughter of the late Hazel (Piper) Flack and the late Wilfred Dow.
Sandra was born in Dunstable, MA, on August 27, 1938. Interestingly, she was born via midwife where what is today, the Dunstable Post Office. Dunstable was Sandy’s happy place. She was born, raised, and was a lifelong Dunstable resident residing on Main Street and then at her Lake Massapoag home where she enjoyed waterskiing and boating. She attended the Dunstable School System and graduated from Lowell High School. Prior to becoming a homemaker for her family, she worked as an executive secretary for Hanscom AFB and Raytheon.
Sandra, as a devoted Christian, prioritized her life around God. She was a member of the Dunstable Evangelical Congregational Church, and spent 60 years teaching Sunday School. She spent her life serving others before herself. Most notably, her Nana, father, husband, great niece, and grandkids whom she adored.
Sandra is survived by her two daughters, Karen Fraser and her husband, Kevin Fraser of Windham NH and Kristen Kosiba and her husband, John Kosiba of Dunstable, MA; three brothers, Wilfred and his wife, Rhoda Dow of Shirley MA, John Dow of Dunstable, MA, and James and his wife, Mary Dow of Dunstable, MA; five grandchildren, Kayla and Kyler Fraser, Faith, Jonathan and Andrew Kosiba. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sandra was also a longtime caregiver for Tabitha Flack and her two children, Rebekah and Ella.
The family would like to acknowledge and offer special thanks to Sol Soares and all the amazing caregivers that allowed Sandra to remain in her home until God needed another angel.
Sandra’s visitation will be Wed., Jan 17, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30 at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME. 106 MIDDLESEX ST., N. CHELMSFORD, MA followed by a Funeral Service at 11am at the Evangelical Congregational Church in Dunstable, MA. Burial in Central Cemetery in Dunstable, MA. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Dunstable Evangelical Congregational Church. Guestbook at www.dolanfuneralhome.com Funeral Arrangements by DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.
