Soeuth Keo, 64, of Lowell, passed away suddenly after complications of leukemia on Friday May 24, 2024, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
He was married to Thonnado Keo with whom he celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on January 17,, 2024.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the beloved son of Lek Phoun, formerly of Cambodia and now living in Lowell, and the late Som Bay of Cambodia.
Prior to his arrival to the United States in 1985, Soeuth overcame the events of the Khmer Rouge, where many of his friends and family sadly perished. He proudly became a US citizen in July 2011.
He was a member of Wat Samaki Khmer Buddhist Temple.
He enjoyed working at Straumann of N. Andover, but on his down time he enjoyed Cambodian kickboxing and hoped to hit big on his scratch tickets. Soeuth was an avid New England Patriots fan as well as the Boston Celtics. His most cherished time was spent with his grandchildren. He would make up games for them to guarantee a smile on their face.
Besides his wife and his mother, he is survived by his sons Viseth Keo, Chith Keo, and Stephan Uch daughters Visa Keo, Vina Im, Vicky Keo, Nikita Keo and Iva Keo, brothers, sisters and 17 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
