Sokha Suon, 83, of Lowell, MA passed away late Sunday night, November 12, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Kampot Province, Cambodia, he was the son of his father, Eap Suon and his mother, Neang Po.
He was married to his wife Sou Ky.
He came to the United States on December 24, 2005 and later became a citizen in 2012.
Sokha was an 8th grade Math teacher for many years.
He enjoyed music, singing, and dancing. His family remembers him as a great learner who loves to study. He was a kind and generous man who loved his family very much. He was a very strong person who lived for so long. He was happily married for 41 years.
Besides his wife, he has one surviving daughter and three sons along with their spouses who stayed by his side: Kimhong Suon and Daniel Lun, Chamroeun Suon and Rotha Sim, Samnang Suon and Darith So, Sambath Suon and Cheanrith Cheang with their children.
He also had one sister and two brothers: Lap Suon, Bunean Suon, and Soben Suon with their spouses. Sokha became the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
