Soneath Seang of Lowell, MA

Soneath Seang, 59, of Lowell, MA, died on January 21, 2023 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.

He was married to Chantheany Chhay with whom he would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary in 1989.

Born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, he was the son of Kimseng Peng and Laihun Sok.

He graduated from Bat Touk High School, Phnom Penh, with the class of 1981. He continued his education at the Cambodia Technology University in Phnom Penh, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary studies.

He was a veterinarian in Cambodia for many years before he came to the United States in 2008.

Soneath enjoyed dining, gardening, and sports, especially boxing.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Soneath Angkearaingsey, and a son, Sola Seang of Lowell, two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was kind, hard-working, a pillar of his community.
