Song Yong of Shirley

Mr. Song Yong, 90, of Shirley, MA died Sunday night, January 5, 2020 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, MA.

He was married to Mrs. Sieklim Sie with whom he celebrated their 62^nd wedding anniversary.

Born in Prey Veng, Cambodia he was the son of the late Yong An and Sok Mong.

He immigrated to the U.S. in August 2011.

He owned and operated a jewelry store in Cambodia

He was a member of the Glory Buddhist Temple in Lowell, MA.  Song was a faithful Buddhist reading the Sapou Tor Scripture.

He enjoyed listening to the radio, especially to Radio Free Asia.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Sour An and Chamroeun Leang of Cambodia, Srey Song and Meng Hor of Cambodia, and Borany and Brandon Eang of Shirley, MA; five sons and their wives, Leng Song and Cheang Chhoun of Cambodia, Chhean An and Nea Nay of Los Angeles, CA, Tong Heng Song and Eng Long, Tong Hap Song and Eang Hout, and Tong Hak Song and Nee Cher all of Cambodia; a sister, Aun Sok of Cambodia, two brothers, Chheangly An of Long Beach, CA, and Kimleang An of Cambodia; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
