Sophann Im passed away on June 27, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital after a period of declining health. Born in Battambang, Cambodia, she was the cherished daughter of Tann Tuy and the late Chhom Im. In 1984, Sophann embarked on a new life in the United States, where she proudly became a citizen in 2005. Sophann was known for her vibrant personality and generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She treasured her moments with friends and family, and her excitement was boundless as she anticipated the arrival of her first grandson, Cloud Sok. Her memory lives on through her beloved mother, Tann Tuy, and her devoted children: Sovannary Lisa Im of Lowell, MA; Sovanara Johnny Im of Chicago, IL; and Sovanarith Tommy Sok and his significant other, Angela Mao, of Lowell, MA. Sophann is also survived by her loving siblings: Thy Im, Sophat Im-Prom, Sopheap Im, Chantha Im, and Chanthorn Im. She was predeceased by her older brother, Tith Im, in eternal rest.
