Steven Louis Agraz, 67, of Westford, MA, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Steven leaves behind his wife Dona M. (Bourque) Agraz, with whom he recently celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary. Besides his wife, Steven is survived by his son Justin L. Agraz and his wife Cristina Agraz of Dunstable, MA, his daughter Chelcee Hamel and her husband Steven of Ridge, NH. He also leaves behind his sister Denise Goldsmith and her husband Spencer of Needham, MA and his niece Allison Knee and nephew Jared Goldsmith. Papa Steve, as he was called, had nine beautiful grandchildren Damian, Gabriel, Kadence, Juliana, Lilliana, Graceanne, Gloryanne, Sadie and Cedar who brought him such joy and love.
Born in Cambridge, MA, Steven was the son of the late Gino L. Agraz and Marie L. Corsino. He spent his formative years raising a ruckus in East Lexington with a band of brothers who he remained close with to this day. He graduated from Lexington High School, with the class of 1974. He is a graduate of Anna Marie College in Paxton, MA with a Masters in ISO. After a long and successful career with many different roles he retired as a Quality Control Manager from Hewlett Packard, formerly Digital Computers, in 2018.
Steven was most happy when he was fishing with family. He loved to fish off a boat out of Gloucester and off the beaches of Nantucket where it was said he even caught a fish or two. From the time he got his driver’s license he was an auto enthusiast, and he owned many cars throughout his life. He developed a passion for photography and could always be found with a camera in his hands. He learned about fishing, cars and photography from his father and then he shared these passions with his children and grandchildren.
