Theresa E. (Dionne) Richard of Dracut formerly of N. Chelmsford

Theresa E. (Dionne) Richard, 90, of Dracut formerly of N. Chelmsford, MA died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital. She was a resident of Northwood Nursing Home in Lowell.

She was married to the late Roderick “Rudy” J. Richard, who died on August 26, 1998.

Born in Riviere du Loup, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Sylvio and Elizabeth Dionne.

Theresa retired from the Honeywell Corporation in 1980. She had previously worked for Dillon Cleaners, Fenway Manufacturing, NuKnit Manufacturing and the Robert Hall Clothing Store.

She was a former communicant of St. Marguerite D’Youville Parish of Dracut, MA and St. John the Evangelist Church of N. Chelmsford, MA where she was a member of the choir.

Theresa was a former member of the Chelmsford and Dracut Senior Centers.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose M. Durand of Dracut; three grandchildren, Michelle Durand of Billerica, Raymond Durand of Lowell and Jamie Durand of Lowell; a sister, Mary Ann McDaniels of Sparks, NV, and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Juluis Dionne, and the late Mary Lou Gibbons.
