Theresa Eva (Pare) Larochelle, 89, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away Monday, April 10th, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving children.
She was the beloved wife to the late Raymond N. Larochelle who passed away March 3rd, 1969.
Theresa was born December 9th, 1933 to Aime A. Pare of Drumanville Province of Quebec, Canada and Eva J. (Roucher) Pare of Lowell in the family home on Branch Street. She lived most of her life in Lowell and the last 5 years in Dracut, MA.
Theresa attended her elementary school years at Notre Dame de Lourdes School and also attended St. Joseph High School and Girls Vocational School, graduating president in her senior year.
She worked at the Lowell Mills, Wang Labs, Raytheon Patriot Missile in Andover, MA where she received a citation from President George Bush, Sr. during Desert Storm.
She had many hobbies including sewing, Bingo, and cooking for her large family to which she devoted much of her time.
Theresa is survived by her 9 children, including 5 daughters Donna Lefebvre of Tewksbury, MA, Deborah Mendonca of Goffstown, NH, Diane and husband Edward Shanley of Chelmsford, MA, Darlene Larochelle and Carlos Santiago of Nashua, NH, and Denise and Scott Dubois of Lowell, MA; her 4 sons Richard and Nancy Larochelle of Lowell, MA, Ronald Larochelle, Robert and Kim Larochelle of Mason, NH, and Roger and Cathy Larochelle of Pelham, NH; her sister Elaine and Charles Marco of Pepperell, MA; a sister-in-law Judene Stauffer Pare of Lowell, MA; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, Elias Regan Newton, which makes five generations, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Raymond N. Larochelle, her brothers Albert A. Pare, Roger G. Pare, Donald Pare, Leo A. Pare, and Eugene “Gino” A. Pare and his wife Debbie Pare, and her sister Pauline J. Pare Rousseau and brother-in-law David Stairs.

Visiting hours Thursday, April 13 from 3-7PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral Friday, April 14 at 10AM at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 374 Stevens Street, Lowell. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA. Ricky, Ronnie, Bobby and Roger and all of Theresa’s family and friends. I have fond memories of Ma, all the laughter and smiles, the big parties and the ever growing family.
