We’ve lost one of the good ones. We’re proud to call Tom our friend. His laugh was infectious – many great memories will remain with us forever. We wouldn’t have our house in Maine without Tom’s help and his beautiful wife Diane. It’s hard to believe he is gone! We will miss him and keep him in our hearts forever. Thank you Tom for all you did for us and for your friendship. We love you and Diane.

Tommy and I were good friends and classmates in Billerica elementary schools from our first grade through our fifth. He was born one day after me, which gave us an added connection, and we played together at each other’s houses when we were boys. Tommy was a really fine boy: smart, friendly, never mean. I wish I had kept up with him as we grew up, but my father did. They served together on the Billerica Board of Selectmen and Dad always liked and respected Tom. I last saw Tom in the late ’90s when I visited Dad and found my old friend there, too. Tom said, “I bet you don’t recognize me,” but I was already exclaiming, “Tommy!” I will always remember him fondly as one of my very best friends during our boyhood.

Sam, Although we never met Tom spoke of you often and told me many stories of your friendship. We had many visits with your Dad who was a wonderful man. Tom also considered you one of his dearest friends.

      Sincerely,
      Diane
