Verba Mae Cambron of Savoy, TX, 104, died Friday, December 2, 2022 at D’Youville Senior Care Center in Lowell.
She was married to the late Clifford Cambron.
Born and raised in Savoy, TX she was the daughter of the late S. David and Cora (Wheatley) Hughes. She graduated from High School in Savoy.
Verba lived most of her life in Denison, TX. She retired from Ringlers after many years. Previously, she worked at a jewelry store after working at a cafeteria in Denison, TX, called The Nook.
Verba lived with her daughter Connie Coppola in North Chelmsford, MA from 2014 until 2019. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Verba is survived by her daughter, Connie and her husband, Pietro Coppola of North Chelmsford, MA; three grandchildren, Angela Coppola and her wife Bonnie Field, Gina Gauthier and her husband, Steven Gauthier, and Julie Roberts and her husband, John Roberts; three great grandchildren, Amanda Barry and her husband, Brian Barry, Jack Roberts, and Colby Roberts; nephews, Edison Hughes and his wife Cheryl Hughes, Charles DeBerry and his wife, Ellen DeBerry; niece, Debbie Martin and her husband Eddie Martin.
She was the sister of the late Leon Hughes, Clarice DeBerry and Marvin Hughes.
