Victoria Z. (Sarnor) Cooper of Lowell, MA

Victoria Z.(Sarnor) Cooper, 68, of Lowell, MA died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell, MA.

She was the wife of the late Sammy Cooper who died on July 7, 1987.

Born in Bomi County, Liberia on Sept. 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Fofie and Miatta Sarnor. She was raised and educated in Liberia. She came to the US in 1992

Victoria retired in 2013 from Bridgewell of Lynnfield where she worked as a Direct Support Staff. She had previously worked at Alternative Support Inc. of Waltham and Life Links of Chelmsford.

She was on the Board of Directors and a member of the Emmanuel Temple of Hope Ministries in Tyngsboro.

Victoria is survived by two sons, Varney Cooper of Lowell, MA and Samuel and his wife, Veronica Cooper of Lexington, MA; two daughters, Wilhelmina Cooper-Bility and her husband Solomon Blity of Lowell, MA and Hawa Hodges of Lowell; two brothers, J. William Fofie of Liberia and Boima Fofie of Liberia; four sisters, Tiang Kemokai of Liberia, Esther Kula Siryon of Philadelphia, Massa Fofie of Liberia and Hawa Karbah of Liberia; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many other relatives

She was predeceased by her son, Simeon Cooper.

Wake keeping will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 5P.M. to 9P.M Christ Jubilee Ministries , 101 Smith Street, Lowell, MA. Funeral Service Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 9A.M. Burial in the Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell.
