Vivian Adams, 80, of Westford, MA died Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Maryland.
She was married John Adams with whom she celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary this past April.
Born in Brockton, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Emily (Augustino) Chaves.
She graduated from Whitman High School with the class of 1960, and received a BA in English Literature from Lowell State College now known as UMASS.
She retired from Raytheon of Burlington and was a reporter for the Westford Eagle Newspaper. Vivian enjoyed writing and authoring books. She was an avid reader and especially liked mysteries.
Vivian loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church of Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
Besides her husband she is survived by her son John “Jay” Adams III of Lake Oswego, OR; two daughters, Kimberly Adams of Annapolis MD, and Kristy Adams of CA; two brothers, John and Karen Chaves of LaCanada, CA, and James and Laura Chaves of Greenville RI, two grandchildren: Audrey Rose Adams, and Emma Bateman, as well as several nieces and nephews.
