Vivian M. (O’Brien) Gutknecht of Lowell

Vivian M. (O’Brien) Gutknecht of Lowell, died at her home on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

She was married to the late Albert Gutknecht who died on February 6, 2013.

Born in Westford, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Mildred O’Brien. She attended the Westford Public Schools.

Vivian retired in 1987 after eleven years as a school bus driver for Lowell Public Schools from the Marinel Bus Company of N. Chelmsford.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna and her husband, Frank Pioli of Leesburg, FL, Diane and her husband, Michael Ahearn of Waterboro, ME and Gail and her husband, Dennis May of Rowe, MA; a brother, William and his wife, Gloria O’Brien of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Louise Bogden of Burlington, VT; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Cynthia Landry of Lowell who died December 18, 2004, and the sister of the late Arthur O’Brien.

A special thank you, to her caregiver, April Landry whom Vivian was so thankful for her care and love.

There are no visiting hours, and a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation at Merrimack Crematory, Merrimack, NH.
