Vorn Ses of Lowell, MA

Vorn Ses, 85, of Lowell, MA died early Friday October 21, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.

He was married to Nib Ket since 1957.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Kong Ses and Kong Khat.

While living in Cambodia, he was a rice farmer. Vorn came to the United States on December 28, 1984 and later became a U.S. citizen on August 7, 2008. Upon arriving in the United States, he lived in Chicago, IL and Madison, WI. He since became a longtime resident of Lowell, MA.

He was a member of the Trairatanaram Buddhist Temple and was a faithful Buddhist.

He enjoyed gardening and cooking, and his family remembers how he enjoyed snow in the winter season. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Chanthou Ses and his wife On Neang and Chanthan Ses and his wife Sarath Chann of Lowell, MA; his daughters, Sarim Ses and her husband William Khoun, Sokhom Ses, Chreb Ses and her husband Carlos Rivera III, Phal Pamela Ses and her husband Narong Chaunamom, all of Lowell, MA; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four brothers.

Visitation Friday, October 28 from 1:30-2:30PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA, continuing from 3-6PM at Trairatanaram Temple.
