    Dear Debbie,

I was very sorry to learn of your father’s passing. What a distinguished life he has lead. His professional career, his civic commitment and of course his family were clearly the focus of his life.

I was interested to learn he served in the Signal Corps of the US Army. That was my branch when I was on active duty. It is an honor to have served in the same organization as your Dad.

Please know that Jean and I have you, your family and your Dad in our thoughts and prayers.

    Sincerely,

    Dick Thompson
