William “Bill” Kenyon of Westford, MA died on January 16, 2025 at home with his family nearby. For 65 years he was the beloved husband of Laura Janet (Leedberg) Kenyon. Born in Lowell, MA, Bill was the son of the late Richard and Mary (Owens) Kenyon.
Bill grew up in Chelmsford and graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1958. He worked and retired from Raytheon after over 40 years of service with the company.
He enjoyed bass fishing and boating on Lake Nabnasset and in Maine. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed cooking them fancy meals. Also, he loved taking walks and spending time with his little dog, Ziggy.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Pamela Airosus of Westford, MA and her fiancé Patrick Donahur of Chelmsford; son Robert and his wife Karen Kenyon of Chesterville, ME; daughter-in-law Donna Kenyon of Townsend, MA; Mary (“Sis”) Senna of Westford, MA; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son William Kenyon Jr. and brother Richard Kenyon.
Bill’s visiting hours will be held from 4-7PM on March 10, 2025 at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, NORTH CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral March 11, 2025, 11AM at Dolan Funeral Home. Words can’t fully express how sorry I am for your loss of Bill. I was very fortunate to know him, from the day I met him he was so good-natured with a great sense of humor. I share in your sorrow and miss him, especially his daily visits with Ziggy. Bill will always hold a special place in my heart.

Jan, Pam, Bob, Karen, Donna and families – I am so sorry for your loss. Any time I saw Bill it was a guaranteed laugh. His sense of humor was amazing. I’m blessed to have had 40+ years of that. He will be missed. Take care of yourselves.
