Youm Yem of Lowell, MA

Youm Yem, 77, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

She was born in Battambang, Cambodia. She moved to the United States in April of 1990 and later became a U.S. citizen

Youm enjoyed cooking, especially Asian desserts. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons Mut Poeung of Cambodia, Mon Poeung of Amesbury, MA, Meth Poeung of Lowell, MA, Muth Poeung of Dracut, MA, Vuth Poeung of Lowell, MA, Vouth Poeung of Lowell, MA; her daughters Savy Poeung of Lowell, MA and Savoeun Poeung of Lowell, MA; and 15 grandchildren.

She was the mother of her late sons Vuonn Poeung and Vin Poeung.
