Paul Majo of Lowell, MA


Paul Majo, 60, of Lowell died early Monday, September 11, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

He was married to Rossie Majo with whom he celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on March 20, 2017.

Born in Marondera, Zimbabwe on Oct. 9, 1956, he was the son of the late Solomon and Dorcas Majo. He earned his BA degree from Solusi University in Zimbabwe and his MBA from National University in Orange County CA.

Paul came to the United States in 1999 and to Lowell in 2002. He worked as an accountant for Seventh Day Adventist Schools, TILL Corporation in Dedham, MA, and Corporative for Human Services in Bedford, MA.

Paul was an active member of Lowell All Nations Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lowell, MA. He loved to study the Bible, and spending time with his family.  Paul enjoyed reading, travelling and watching sports.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Chenai Majo of Yuba City, CA and Rudo Luanda Majo of Yuba City, CA; four sisters, Judith Manyanya, Norah Mazomo, Rosemary Njerere and Naomi Majo All of Zimbabwe and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours Sun. 1 to 5 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, CHELMSFORD, MA.       Thank you. He was indeed a good guy. Some of his goodness is even more magnified now. We wish his life could be re-lived, we would do a few more things differently. We have this hope, hope in the coming of the Lord!

      Amen! We lost our pillar. Life is now so empty without him. I called him my friend. No more that friend to tell something knowing no one will say it again. No more friend to confide in.
